Kitchen Renovation

"Recently your company completed a second project I requested. I mainly wanted to comment on what a terrific job they did on my kitchen. It not only came out better than I imagined, but it definitely exceeded my expectations to the point where I sincerely believe it could win an award in a remodeling magazine. 

One of the many things I appreciated about working with Mr. Fallis was how much he stood out from other project managers I talked to because he had so many ideas on how to make the kitchen beautiful and paid so much attention to detail, which really enhanced the finished project. 

In addition they were efficient, diligent workers and always had time for my questions. I also appreciated the fact that they were open to my ideas if I suggested something and they always were cheerful and pleasant to be around even when they encountered unforeseen problems. For instance, the ceiling of my kitchen had a problem with the old paint bleeding through the new paint due to the type of paint and inexperience of the previous owner. Because of Mr. Fallis' experience he was able to solve the problem in a timely manner and with a cheerful attitude.

Of particular importance to me also was that I always felt comfortable leaving them my key so I could go about my business.

I would also highly recommend them because they go above and beyond what you might expect even of friends. I had to call Mr. Fallis one weekend regarding a leak that my neighbor had in her home. It was serious to the point that it looked like rainfall coming into her house. She was sick and her husband was out of the country. They did not hesitate to come that weekend despite the blizzard of the century. At considerable risk and discomfort because of the extreme weather conditions they were able to identify the problem and prevent further damage.

There have also been numerable times that I needed small things done and they would do them at no extra charge. I really appreciated when Mr. Fallis painted the numbers on my house white because the Fire and Police department had complained about not being able to read the numbers of my street address. That is just one of the ways they have gone the extra mile!

Deck Restoration

"We want to say how we are extremely satisfied with the work Urso Contracting and Remodeling Company did for us.  We have a wood deck that was severely weathered and needed attention. I had it looked at by a few contractors and only Urso Contracting and Remodeling Company was willing to restore it instead of totally rebuilding it. They power washed the surface and sanded the entire deck to smooth the boards. They painted the deck and it looks new again! They took their time to do it right and it shows. They saved us thousands compared to having to rebuild from scratch. They really seem to look out for their customers. Thanks guys, we will definitely use you again!"

"I would like to commend the excellent recommendations Darry Fallis made before starting the project downstairs in my basement. Due to his foresight, imagination and recommendations the finished product not only looked new, but updated, brighter and roomier than before. The once unsightly bulky looking columns became objects of interest. Not only did the end result require experienced highly skilled workers but also artistic talents. Mr. Fallis' attention to detail both in working on the project and all the paperwork involved made it a pleasure to work with him.

The unforeseen challenges such as an unusual amount of spackling required (due to previous owner's lack of knowledge in attempting repairs) were met with professionalism and attention to detail. I also appreciated the time and effort involved in resolving issues with my insurance company.

The workers were very impressive. It was a pleasure to see the pride they took in their work. They were always on time and worked diligently throughout the day (without breaks). Everyone was always cheerful, friendly and professional. Their experience and impressive skills made the project run efficiently. I felt comfortable leaving them with my keys so I could come and go as needed.

I highly recommend Urso Contracting and Remodeling Company to my friends and neighbors. I expect one neighbor to add two sunrooms to her home and I plan on more renovations to my home in the future. Thank you so much!"

It was one of the best windows we seen on the market at a reasonable price. They installed our windows in one day and did an excellent job. Everyone was very neat and clean. The crew leader showed us exactly how to tilt the sashes for cleaning and how to use the hidden locks on the windows. He even showed us how to remove the screen in case we needed to take it out.  The crew was very knowledgeable and pleasant.  We would recommend them to anyone needing a good contractor.
